Yes, I remember seeing him in that film and read about his coaching! He was lucky to lead two lives! One that had job security and one the many could only dream about having. He was a very different wrestler in his early pro days... A real, scary villain that was transformed into a comical, lovable character later on. Thanks for sharing and I wished I had gotten to meet him!

In addition to his persona as George, Jim Myers coached our HS football and wrestling teams. His team won a Michigan state championship in wrestling. Some might remember his role in the Tim Burton movie, Ed Wood. Quite a man indeed.
