Description
I took series of photos of these two love bird Chimpanzees embracing and taking care of each other up high on their perch. The main portion of this photo is of the chimp on the left. The one on the right in the photo was looking away so I photoshopped his head from another photo in the series to this image so both or their faces would be showing. Chimpanzees have opposable thumbs used for climbing, picking fruits, and catching insects. They are known for making and using simple tools like twigs for eating termites, and using rocks for cracking nuts. They will also create leaf "sponges" for getting water out of tree-boles and crevices.
