Description
This is my altered portrait of Kris Kristofferson (singer, songwriter, musician, actor). He wrote hit songs "Me and Bobby McGee," "For the Good Times," "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down" and "Help Me Make It Through the Night." In 1985, Kristofferson joined fellow country artists Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash in forming the country music supergroup, The Highwaymen. In 2004, Kristofferson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. He is also known for his acting work, including starring roles in "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and "A Star Is Born" with Barbra Streisand. He won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in that movie. For this version I've combined my photo of him with a photo I took at a wooded bluff at Fitzgerald Reserve just north of Half Moon Bay. For this version I've added a quote.
