Description
This is my profile portrait of a Waldrapp Ibis bird checking out his surroundings.
The waldrapp was considered sacred in ancient Egypt; unfortunately, this species is now extinct there. They nest in huge colonies and both the male and female incubate the eggs. It is one of the worlds most critically endangered avian species.
