Description
This is my mixed media version of my portrait of a Filipina woman with a Mole on her cheek and wearing a scarf. I've combined it with another photo I took while in the summer resort City of Baguio. The photo shows part of their downtown area that had been damage by a major earthquake.

I like this digital work and the message that I feel you are trying to convey here, Jim! That message is that we need to understand when tragedies are reported in some far off land from where we live, that we need as humans, to put a face or faces with that in order to have a connection emotionally with the loss/es that the survivors have endured! People who have lived their whole lives and their entire families--all that they ever knew--often wiped out in one fatal swoop! The magnitude of what they must feel must be too much to bear! There are times when I stop and think about this and wish that we all did and knew how we could do something positive to somehow make their lives a little better to ease their suffering! Fave! L/F/FB!
